This will be our 4th trip. My son is 6. This will be the first time without a stroller and I am very very worried he will not be able to do all the walking. I am considering going out and buying a stroller as I have gotten rid of his. What do u think

    Hi Stan:

I've been traveling to Disney World with my 8 year old and 6 year old sons since they were infants. Since this is your fourth time at Walt Disney World, you appreciate the amount of walking that will be done during your trip.

On our last trips to Walt Disney World, my family have not brought or rented strollers.  My boys were able to enjoy their vacation, but the youngest did get tired from time to time.  In those cases, we just lifted him up on our shoulders.

You know your kid the best, but my gut tells me that most six year olds can enjoy the Parks without the need of a stroller.  If you decide otherwise, instead of buying a stroller, think about a rental.  Disney rents strollers in the Parks.  Alternatively, my family used a local Orlando stroller-rental service, orlandostrollerrentals.com.  They are familiar working with Disney World guests and conveniently deliver and pick up the stroller right from your resort.

    Enjoy your vacation.
