Hi moms! 1st trip is this Sept. We're using Magical Express, so won't have a car. How can we get groceries (cases of bottled water, milk, fruit, breakfast, snacks)? I'll pack some, but a case of water is too heavy. Taxi /bus to store? Other options? Thx!

    Hi Jennifer,

You can absolutely take a taxi to a local grocery store from your resort.  Taxis are generally readily available at each of the resorts, and Bell Services will help you secure a taxi, and provide directions to a local market.  However, you will have to pay the taxi for the trip to the store and back as well as "waiting time" while you are shopping.  My recommendation is to use a grocery delivery service and have your items delivered directly to your Disney resort.  I have had several good experiences with gardengrocer.com.  They carry a wide variety of products, including fresh produce and dairy items.  Several of my Moms Panel pals have used this service and were also very satisfied.  You can handle the entire transaction online if you like (from picking items to paying).  You can arrange a delivery time that coincides with your arrival, and Bell services will gladly store any items in cold storage that need to be refrigerated before you arrive.  The delivery service does charge a nominal fee to drop your items off, but I've found it to be far less than the cost of a taxi.

You can also purchase a variety of basic groceries at the main store/gift shop at store your resort, but are likely to get a bigger variety via the delivery service.

    Have a great trip!
