We have a trip in Sept but we are not staying at a Disney Resort. I am buying the Memory Maker but we will not have Magic Bands. How can I make sure I get ride photos for everyone in our party? How does the Memory Maker work for people without Magic Bands?

    Hi Megan,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a question!

You’ll be happy to know that Memory Maker works really well for all Guests, even those without MagicBands. Whenever you have a Disney’s PhotoPass Service photographer take a picture of you and your party, you’ll be able to give them either your Theme Park Admission Card or your Memory Maker Card. They’ll scan them the same way that they scan a MagicBand, and voilà! Your pictures will be available for download in your My Disney Experience account.

For pictures from attractions, please locate your pictures on the screens at the attraction’s exit. When you’ve located them, there should be a “Mickey Head” tap point that you’ll be able to use in order to add them to your account (by scanning your Card, once again). My understanding is that on-ride videos may not be available to you without using a MagicBand, but if you have any questions, please ask a Cast Member for assistance.

Don’t forget that other members of your party will also be able to scan and add their pictures to their My Disney Experience account and that you’ll be able to download them too as part of your Memory Maker package. Just make sure that they’ll all linked to you as part of you “My Family & Friends” list in your My Disney Experience account.

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
