Hello, I have a trip scheduled in Orlando 1/10-1/24. I am interested in a 6 day pass, but it looks like whenever I pick a start date, I only have 9 days to use all of my days. I would like to know if I can spread the days out more over 2 weeks.

    Hi Lisa, welcome to planDisney!

You'll be trading ski slopes for magical thrills this January, and I totally get it! Walt Disney World Resort is a winter wonderland for snowbirds of all ages. The EPCOT International Festival of the Arts begins January 12, 2024, and entertains all of the senses. I especially love the creative culinary creations found at the various Food Studios. Keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for the 2024 Disney Eats Foodie Guide; snack on the 2023 Disney Eats Foodie Guide while you wait.

When purchasing date-based tickets for Walt Disney World Resort, the valid use period for each ticket is determined by the selected start date and the ticket's length. As you discovered, 6-day theme park tickets expire 9 days after the selected start date. I regret that this is not the confirmation you were hoping for, Lisa, so let's talk about alternate ticket options for your two-week stay. One option is to purchase two 3-day tickets for each member of your party. 3-day tickets expire five days after the selected start date, and if you include a couple of days between valid use period dates, you could cover the two-week spread. A better option is to purchase 10-day tickets, which have a 14-day active use period. I know this is more park days than you were planning, but the cost of a 10-day ticket is actually less than the cost of the two 3-day tickets I mentioned. That's because the cost per day goes down as you add park days; Mickey math at its finest!

If I had 10 days to play at Walt Disney World Resort, I'd spend three of them at Magic Kingdom Park and EPCOT, and two days at Disney's Hollywood Studios and Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park. However many park days you end up planning, Lisa, planDisney is here to help you maximize their magic.

    Choose magic,
    Jennifer
