We have a trip scheduled for July 9-10 to Disneyland, but we want reschedule do work related challenges. We purchased our tickets online and see the cancel option but don’t want to lose out on the trip. Can we reschedule for a later date? Options?

Hi there, Jeremy. Thanks for taking the time to visit us on planDisney. We’re so glad you’re here with your question of us.

It’s a bummer you’re not able to enjoy your days at the Happiest Place on Earth as originally planned. However, HAKUNA MATATA! It means no worries, Jeremy. Rest assured that even though you cancel your theme park reservations for July 9-10, you will still have your park tickets that can be used at a later time! You don’t cancel your actual tickets as they’re good until expiration date; you’re only canceling the reservations.

Once you’ve determined a better time for your travels to the Disneyland Resort, take a look at the Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar. Currently, you can make reservations up to 120 days in advance. It looks like the process of making theme park reservations will continue for the foreseeable future. I recommend making theme park reservations with your new travel dates as soon as you can to secure your spots!

If you have additional trip-planning questions, please don’t hesitate to visit us on planDisney again. We’re all EARS!

Meet the Panelist: Kiki, California

Greetings! I have been fascinated by the magic of Disney since I was a little girl; now that I am a mother of two, I love watching my children experience Disney Parks through their own eyes. I am also surrounded by fellow Disney-loving nurse friends whom I enjoy quick adults-only Disneyland Resort escapes or Disney Cruise Line voyages with. Whether you are planning your once-in-a-lifetime family trip or a short adults-only getaway to the Happiest Place on Earth, I am here to help!
