Welcome to planDisney, Nicole.
Character meet-and-greets are truly some of the sweetest moments you can experience at The Most Magical Place on Earth. I still treasure the videos of my kids meeting their favorites—like when my six-year-old daughter chatted away with Elsa as if they’d known each other for years, or when my three-year-old held Mickey’s hand and practically floated through the park beside him. Those are the moments that stick with you forever!
My whole family are big Bluey fans too, so we were thrilled when Disney announced that characters from the show will be coming to
Walt Disney World Resort in 2026. At this point, Disney hasn’t shared an official debut date or which park they’ll appear in. Since your visit is in January, there
might be a chance you’ll catch them—but for now, nothing is guaranteed. I wish I had a more definite (and more hopeful!) update for you, Nichole. Keep an eye on
Disney Parks Blog for any exciting announcements.
Even so, your little Mouseketeer will have plenty of magical friends to meet. One tip: build a little extra flexibility into your schedule for character greetings. Early mornings or right at park opening usually mean shorter waits—something every parent of a 2-year-old can appreciate!
