Our trip is scheduled for 11/29 to 12/6 & I've heard that the MK doesn't put up their Christmas tree until after the taping of the parade, is that true? If so, then am I better off putting the trip off one week even though it would then be Pop Warner

    Hi Rhonda!

Thanks for asking me a question!  You are correct in saying that the Christmas Tree at the front of Main Street USA in the Magic Kingdom typically doesn't get put up until after the Disney Parks Christmas Day Parade is tapped, which usually occurs on the first weekend of December.  The rest of Magic Kingdom will be decorated for the Holidays by the first weekend of December.  If you desire to see the Christmas Tree at the Magic Kingdom, then you could plan to be there one week later.  Pop Warner Football does not have that much affect on the four parks of Walt Disney World because the young athletes and cheer leaders spend a good deal of time at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex playing and cheering.  They do get to go to the parks, but the crowd impact is minimal because the beginning of December is a lower crowd time at Walt Disney World.  The only place where you might see the impact of Pop Warner is at the Value Resorts where most of the Pop Warner Guests choose to stay.

I hope that your next Walt Disney World vacation is truly magical in every way!

    Keep Dreaming Big!
