Our trip is scheduled during the holidays. When searching online, I read that New Years Eve is extremely busy at Magic Kingdom and will close when reached max capacity. What about christmas Day? We have tix for the Candlelight Proc at Epcot.

Hi Lesley!  New Years Eve at Walt Disney World is a very popular time to be in the parks.  There is so much activity and celebration and it is a draw for many local guests as well.  The Magic Kingdom is indeed one of the first parks to close to capacity on that day and EPCOT will also be a busy and crowded park for the older crowds.

Christmas day has never been quite the draw. Many families prefer a more low key and relaxed day to celebrate.  Since it is hard to predict the crowds for any time of the year you can only go by past numbers and experience.  I suggest when you check into your resort discuss your plans with the concierge and let them advise you if any changes need to be made.  I think seeing the Candlelight Processional on Christmas Day will be so beautiful and inspirational and you shouldn't have any difficulty!
