1st trip was in '07 and most recent was May '12 noticed Character Dining choices have basically remained the same. Are there ever updates/additions to the Character Dining Experiences? Was hoping for something new during '13 visit :-)

    Hi Amy,

I'm not aware of any changes to the character dining line up.  That's not to say there aren't any changes in the works - Disney always seems to be tweaking and changing guest experiences.  I'm guessing however, that for your trip in 2013, you can count on the same character dining experiences you've seen in the past.  If you haven't tried them all, I recommend 1900 Park Fare for breakfast or dinner.  Breakfast features "British" characters: Mary Poppins, Alice, Mad Hatter, Pooh & Tigger.  At dinner you can meet the characters from Cinderella.  The Step Sisters are a riot.

While it doesn't feature character dining, Be Our Guest Restaurant in the New Fantasyland will be open during your next visit.

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
