Hello Billie,
You have said three magic words in my book: Disney, dining, and steak! I was born and raised in Texas, and I like to think I know my steaks. So, you have come to the right place.
I have dined at many restaurants offering wonderful beef options, but here are my favorites. The Black Angus Filet Mignon and Roast Prime Rib of Beef at
Yachtsman Steakhouse at Disney's Yacht Club Resort are absolutely amazing. Their creamed spinach is some of the best I've ever eaten. If you are feeling indulgent, you might also want to try their truffle mac and cheese. If you would rather get a great steak in the parks, my suggestion would be
Le Cellier Steakhouse in the Canada Pavilion at Epcot. My go-to steak here is also the Filet Mignon. It is served with a scrumptious mushroom risotto that compliments it beautifully.
In regards to character dining for dinner, there are several places I would recommend.
1900 Park Fare Happily Ever After Dinner at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort is great. Cinderella and her stepmother and stepsisters mingle with the dinner guests. I love the sarcastic humor of the stepmother and stepsisters, but keep this in mind if dining with really young guests, as they might not get it and feel as if they are being mean. It's all in good fun, though. The options of food are quite delicious, too. Another great dinner is
The Garden Grill in the Land Pavilion in Epcot. Hearty selections are served family style and the restaurant rotates creating a unique dining experience.
Bon Appetit
