Welcome to planDisney, Joanne and let me offer you a great big CONGRATULATIONS on your wedding anniversary! Joanne, my husband and I just celebrated a milestone anniversary at the Walt Disney World Resort earlier this summer, so your question is near and dear to my heart!
Joanne, first I will encourage you to pick up the complimentary celebration buttons upon check-in at
Disney's Old Key West Resort. At the Front Desk just let the Cast Member know that you're celebrating an anniversary and you'll have matching buttons to wear every day of your trip. While these don't guarantee any extras, you'll be surprised at how many Cast Members (and even other guests) offer their best wishes throughout the day.
If you have any
advanced dining reservations, I highly recommend using the new
Mobile Check-in feature because there is a separate tab where you can note your celebration. Two of my favorite dining locations that offer an ambiance that would make both Mickey and Minnie Mouse swoon are
California Grill and
Topolino's Terrace- Flavors of the Riviera.
