Hey Richard!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thanks for your excellent question!
Walt Disney World’s
Magic Kingdom and
Disneyland Park are similar in many ways; however, they are two different theme parks that are run independently. Therefore, the tickets you purchased for Walt Disney World in Florida may not be used at the Disneyland Resort in California.
But, I still encourage you to purchase tickets to come and experience the magic of Walt Disney’s original theme park. There is nothing quite like walking down the only Main Street U.S.A. that Walt set foot on every day. Plus, there are several attractions you won’t find in Florida like Indiana Jones Adventure, Matterhorn Bobsleds, Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage and Mickey’s Toontown! Also, I encourage you to visit both theme parks! Over at Disney California Adventure Park, you’ll experience Cars Land, Pixar Pier and the all-new Avengers Campus, opening soon!
Please note that the Disneyland Resort Theme Parks and Resort Hotels recently unveiled plans for a
Phased Reopening. The Disneyland Resort will manage attendance through a new theme park reservation system that will require all guests to obtain an advance reservation for park entry. Therefore, new ticket sales have currently
paused. To stay up to date on the latest announcements related to the Disneyland Resort, make sure to check the
Disney Parks Blog on a regular basis. You’ll find breaking news, like when new ticket sales have resumed, there first!
Please return to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with additional questions! We’re all EARS!
