I have a trip planned in 2019. I am trying to decide if I want the deluxe dining plan or not. Can you use the dining plan for California grill brunch? Or is this a special dining event. thank you!

    Hi Michele!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Dining around Walt Disney World Resort has become its own activity over the last few years. I like to say that Disney is now an Eat Park, too! I definitely approve your decision to brunch at California Grill. But also keep up with the Disney Parks Blog for dining and snack news between now and your vacation!

Currently, Brunch at California Grill is included as an option on the 2018 Disney Dining Plan. I don't have the proper Magic Mirror to see behind the 2019 dining scene just yet. However, California Grill is listed as participating in the 2019 Deluxe Disney Dining Plan, which I assume also includes Brunch.

Pro Tip: I love the Disney Dining Plan Location PDF. The 2019 version isn't completely set yet, as restaurants have until December to finalize their menus and participation for next year. But, Brunch at California Grill participated this year and in 2017, so I imagine they aren't going anywhere. I found these lists by googling 'Disney Dining Plan PDF' plus the year, so go ahead and make your reservation now and either check back with us or find the 2019 list at the start of the new year for total confirmation. And, should brunch be out next year, you can cancel your reservation for a full refund up until 24 hours before your reserved meal time.

I hope this helped, Michele, and We'll See You Real Soon!
