    Trip planned for 4/1-4/11.This will be our 1st time driving, so we will have access to our car.Will it be quicker/easier to drive to the parks from CBR and POR or use the dis. bus?How about for return trips in the evening?(3kids,1 in stroller) Thanks!!

    Hi Nicole,  Driving your own car vs. using Disney transportation is always a huge debate.  There are those who wouldn't dream of using a car to get around.  I am the opposite, I like to drive to the parks.

    While Disney does an amazing job moving around as many people as they do, I just don't like being crowded on a bus after a long day.   And, if I don't get a seat (or give up my seat like I usually do for the little kids who are wiped out!) I am not good at balancing myself, my backpack, and holding onto my kids while on a moving bus!

    Also note that for safety reasons, strollers must be folded up before entering the bus.

    The biggest ADVANTAGE to taking the bus is that the bus stops are usually pretty close to the exit gates, so there is no taking a tram to your car.  I don't really know what is faster, it depends on if  you time getting to your bus well.  But for me, it is certainly easier to hop in my own car, get everyone comfortably seated, and get right back to my resort.

    The great part of Disney is, you can try it all!  Try the bus one day and your car the next and see what works best for your family.  Good Luck!
