Hi there Nancy,
Character Dining is a great way to get some one on one interaction with your favorite characters while enjoying a delicious meal! It really can't get any better, and your kids are all at great ages to really enjoy this. Even though many character experiences book up months in advance, there are a few of my favorites that will most likely still have availability.
Let's start with my number one favorite of all time,
'Ohana which is located amidst the beauty and ambience of DIsney's Polynesian Resort. Although this restaurant serves guests for breakfast and dinner, the characters only appear during breakfast hours. Enjoy a delicious, island-inspired meal served family style in the true spirit of 'Ohana (Hawaiian for "Family"). The characters appearing at 'Ohana Best Friends Breakfast are Lilo, Stitch, Mickey, and Pluto and they're all decked out in their Hawaiian shirts and leis!
Another great option is
The Crystal Palace, located in the Magic Kingdom! This whimsical buffet-style location features Pooh, Eeyore, Piglet, and Tigger. The food offerings are delicious and there's something for even the pickiest of eaters! Crystal Palace is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Donald's Safari Dining is another choice and the perfect place to let your wild side run loose! This adventure takes place at the Tusker House Restaurant in Disney's Animal Kingdom Park and the family-focused buffer features an array of options that is sure to please every member of your family! Look out for Donald, Mickey, Daisy, and Goofy during both breakfast and lunch! -Amanda F.
