We have a trip planned in September and will be taking the Magical Express to our resort. Will we need car seats for our 4 year old and 1 year old??

    Hiya Natalie!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I’m so glad you found us!

It looks like you’ve got some big plans for September! Mid September is one of the best times to visit Walt Disney World. Labor Day has come and gone and most kids are back in school with families getting back into the swing of things. This makes the parks a little bit quieter than normal which is great news for your little Mouseketeers!

One of the best perks of staying at a Walt Disney World Resort is access to complimentary transportation between the airport and your resort. Disney’s Magical Express will whisk you and your luggage away on a magical ride to your resort. I couldn’t imagine starting my Walt Disney World vacation any other way! You’ll be happy to hear that you will not need to bring any car seats for Disney’s Magical Express. Children may sit on your lap or sit in their own seat. Your 4 year old will feel like the biggest kid ever! If you happen to be traveling with your car seats, you are welcome to store them under the motor coach until you arrive at your resort.

If you haven’t booked character dining for the little ones already, I highly recommend you consider the character breakfast at Topolino’s Terrace- Flavors of the Riviera. Situated on the top floor of Disney Vacation Club’s newest resort, Disney’s Riviera Resort, you’ll enjoy a magnificent breakfast with Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck and Daisy Duck. At this time, you won’t be able to get close up with the gang, but you will absolutely get to celebrate with them and watch them parade through the restaurant in their new and unique outfits. It’s by far my favorite character breakfast on property.

Well Natalie, I hope you found this information useful and if you have any more questions for us before your trip please come back and let us know.

Remember, always believe in the Magic!
