Trip planned for Sept 13-19 with 5yr old DD. How necessary is it to be at each park at opening during a lower attendance season? Was hoping for a couple of days for late character breakfast then the parks.

    Hi Danielle --

Getting to the park right at opening isn't for everyone.  September is traditionally a season with lighter crowds, so by all means, sleep in.  I do recommend avoiding the parks that have extra magic hours in the morning.  Those extended hours are great for those early risers who want to get some attractions in before the park opens, but by midday the park that had extra magic hours is usually the most crowded.

    Have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
