    Our trip is planned for Sept and it's our very first time. Suggestions on how to plan an itinerary? I want to make sure we see as much as we can. We are staying for 9 days so any help would be appreciated. We have a 10 and 5 yr old.

    How exciting!

    Planning your very first trip to Walt Disney World can be daunting, but we are here to help you, so not to worry.

    First, send another question which includes the dates of your stay; this will help to determine park hours, unofficial crowd predictions and even check to see if special events are taking place during your 9 day stay. Include if your children have any favorite characters and if your family really enjoys any particular types of food, as well if you'll be on a Dining Plan. Finally, do you have the Park Hopper Option and / or do you also have the Water Parks & More Fun option? (Neither are necessary to have fun; we just need to be sure you can take the suggestions made.)

    At this early date, it's possible to plan your days in the parks based upon the above information, then book any Advanced Dining Reservations that you may wish to make as soon as you can. Many of the most popular restaurants book up beginning with 180 days prior to check-in, so it's best to secure those reservations as early as you can.
