I have a trip planned for October 3. Can I rent a mobile scooter and if so do I need to reserve it or put a Deposit on it and also how much will it be for one day

    Welcome to planDisney, Denise!

Hip, hip, hooray! Your adventure to The Most Magical Place on Earth is just a couple of months away! I am so very glad that you stopped by with this question. Planning ahead for your visit is a great way to ensure all the little details are taken care of so you can focus on making magical memories during your visit.

I am delighted to report that you can rent an electric conveyance vehicle or ECV at any of the four theme parks and at Disney Springs. The cost is $50 per day and a refundable $20 deposit is required. This price is subject to change, so be sure to check out all the details on the Walt Disney World website as your travel dates get closer. These rentals are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis, and advanced reservations are not available. Your daily rental also transfers between locations with no extra fee, so this means if you start your day at EPCOT and end at Disney's Hollywood Studios, you will not need to pay an additional charge. You would just return the ECV at EPCOT and pick up another when you arrive at the next location. I do want to mention that quantities are limited, so if this is a must for your visit (or you think you may arrive later in the day) there are options to rent through third-party companies in advance.

Walt Disney World Resort has a featured rental provider, ScooterBug. This company offers advance rentals and can even deliver your scooter to your Walt Disney World Resort Collection hotel. Should your ECV arrive before you do, the rental can be left with Bell Services for you to pick up when you arrive. You can find a full list of ScooterBug's rental prices and policies on their website.

I hope that your upcoming adventure is memorable and magical!
    We'll see ya real soon!
