Bright Suns, Dylan!
Welcome to planDisney! How exciting to hear that you are planning a trip to the Walt Disney World Resort!
When time is short, I always advocate for more theme park days. With five days, you have time to visit one park twice. Given the ages of your kids, I would suggest that you visit Disney's Hollywood Studios twice, especially since you may not be able to experience
Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance on your first day in the park. Be sure to review the
virtual queue updates to make sure you are ready to ride!
My girls are 13-years old and we prefer to visit Magic Kingdom on the first day, Disney's Hollywood Studios on the second, Disney's Animal Kingdom on the third, and EPCOT on the fourth. Magic Kingdom is a first day park because we love walking down Main Street, U.S.A. and seeing Cinderella Castle. In years past, we have visited EPCOT first. Riding
Soarin' Around the World also puts us right in the middle of the magic.
Since you are staying at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, you will also have access to the
Resort Monorail. When we stay at a resort hotel with access to the resort monorail, we typically spend our last day at Magic Kingdom or Epcot so that we can get there quickly and get back to the resort hotel to catch
Disney's Magical Express. The last time we stayed at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, we walked over to Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa for breakfast at 1900 Park Fare. Although temporarily unavailable now, keep an eye out on
dining updates to see if it opens in time for your visit.
Dylan, also be sure to access the
Disney Park Pass system to make your park pass reservations for each day that you have valid theme park admission. Check the
park availability calendar to see park availability for the dates of your visit. And, then, get ready for your next
Incredible Disney Day.
May the Force be with you as you plan!
Good journey,
Donyell
