Hello Veronica! A visit to Disney World sounds like the perfect way to celebrate your daughter’s birthday! Let’s do some planning!
Dates for
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party haven’t been released yet, but when they are, there will most likely be parties on October 30 and 31. The Halloween party is my family’s favorite event at Magic Kingdom! It’s not really Halloween for our family until we see the Headless Horseman make his haunting ride along the parade route! If you do attend the party, the best tip I can provide is to take advantage of the early arrival! Halloween party ticketholders can enter Magic Kingdom as early as 4:00, even though the party doesn’t begin until 7:00! It’s a great perk! A visit to the Halloween party will also be a special way to celebrate your daughter’s special day!
Something to keep in mind is that the Halloween party is very popular on October 30 & 31. The party can be crowded, and tickets are in high demand, which makes these dates more expensive nights to attend the party.
Should you decide not to visit the Halloween party, I recommend going to Magic Kingdom during the day on either October 30 or October 31, then using your
Park Hopper ticket to visit either EPCOT or Hollywood Studios in the evening. The logic behind this is that Magic Kingdom is usually less crowded during the daytime when the Halloween party is held at night. Less crowds means shorter wait times for attractions!
Speaking of Magic Kingdom, if you plan on visiting that park a second time during your vacation, you might want to save the second time for closer to the end of your vacation! If you go on November 4 or 5, you’ll likely see the Christmas decorations! Yes, the transition from Halloween to Christmas happens that quickly!
Veronica, be sure to visit either your Disney World hotel or
Guest Relations located at any of the four Disney Parks! Your daughter can receive a complimentary birthday button! Consider it a birthday gift from Mickey!
Dreams do come true!
