Greetings Cathy, and welcome to
planDisney!
I visit central Florida and the Walt Disney World theme parks throughout the year, and in my opinion, November has some of the best weather of all. Just as Elsa is starting to make things chilly up north, the weather is still nice and toasty warm (Olaf-approved!) in Orlando. Last November, I dressed for summer during the day (the average high this month is 80°) and occasionally added a light jacket in the evenings. Because afternoon showers can occur no matter what the season, I packed a poncho and purse-size umbrella in my theme park bag each day, but rarely needed them. It's not nearly as wet this time of year as it is in the spring and summer months. Be sure to check the weather a few days before you leave so your suitcase will be outfitted with whatever the temperatures decide to do during your trip. Check out
these packing tips from some of my panelist pals!
Walt Disney World has not yet updated its
Park Hours Calendar for November, so keep checking
here as your trip approaches. If you will be staying at a
Deluxe Resort Hotel or
Deluxe Villa Resort, you will be eligible for
Extended Evening Theme Park Hours, a new benefit for Guests of some hotels in the
Disney Resorts Collection. This is a great perk for visitors who enjoy late nights in the theme parks!
I hope this is helpful, Cathy. You'll be visiting just as both the
50th-anniversary celebration and
holiday season are getting underway, so be sure to stay tuned to the
Disney Parks Blog and
follow us on social media to keep track of all the excitement happening during your vacation. It's going to be an incredible year at the Most Magical Place on Earth, and I'm so glad you'll be there for it. Thanks for sending your question our way, and we'll see ya real soon!
