We have a trip planned Nov 7-14. We are specifically interested in the Epcot Wine & Food Festival as we go every year, however this year no end date has been announced yet. Any chance there will be announcement soon in case we need to adjust dates?

    Hi Elaine!

As my pal Remy says, “If you are what you eat, then I only want to eat the good stuff.” And boy oh boy, EPCOT is full of the good stuff, especially during the Taste of EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival. While Walt Disney World has not announced an end date for this fabulous festival, it has been confirmed that the Festival of the Holidays at EPCOT debuts on November 27.  So my best guess from these nuggets of information is that the Food and Wine Festival will be serving up great eats and drinks into mid-November. To be certain, you can always sniff out more information on the Disney Parks Blog for updated announcements.

This pleasing-to-the-palate festival has to be my favorite event at Walt Disney World. Can you blame me? With 20 festival-exclusive marketplaces, the food and beverage options are AH-ma-zing! There’s even a Digital Festival Guide on the My Disney Experience App! I have to have a plan for what dishes I’ll be eating or I might end up too full to try my absolute favorites like the Pork Tostada or try some new treats like a Liquid Nitro Chocolate Cake Pop that they make right in front of you using liquid nitrogen! To check out all the options in advance, there’s an excellent Foodie Guide on the Disney Parks Blog.

Speaking of my favorite little chef, I cannot wait for the addition of Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure at the France Pavilion in EPCOT. This is one of my kids’ favorite movies, so we are eagerly awaiting the debut of this attraction that allows Guests to shrink down to the size of a rat for a culinary adventure with Chef Remy. Hey, anything with the word Remy in it is fine by me: I adore the Remy restaurant onboard two of Disney Cruise Line’s ships, the Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy.

Finally, I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention Remy’s Ratatouille Hide & Squeak scavenger hunt, another can’t miss experience themed after Remy himself. Here’s how it works: you hunt for Remy in each of the countries in World Showcase, mark it down on your map, and receive an exclusive Disney souvenir at the end. I’ve been told that this year’s Food & Wine scavenger hunt prize is your choice from four different water bottles.
