Howdy, Beth!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
You’ve got a friend in me, Beth! I, too, am going to The Most Magical Place on Earth in November! I’m sure you have a ton of questions about what the announcements of limited Character Experiences and the current cancelation of the
Disney Dining Plans means for your upcoming visit. My greatest advice, now, would be to keep up with the
Disney Parks Blog and the official
Walt Disney World Resort Website for announcements and updates as times are ever-changing!
I love the food at Walt Disney World, and I am always the first to reserve my Disney Dining Plan! I am so excited to see them return! This year’s trip will look a little different for me, but I know that it will be just a magical!
To plan ahead for my trip, this is what I’m doing:
-Going through each day of my trip.
-Deciding what
Table Service and Quick Service meals I’d like to go to each day.
-Adding up the average cost of the meals that the members of my family will be eating.
-Figuring in a few snacks throughout each day.
After I do this little mental workout above, I’ll have a good idea of what I need to save for my trip. The easiest way to budget for food, for me, is to start purchasing
Disney Gift Cards that will act as my “Dining Plan” for my trip. They’re so easy to snag from stores, gas stations, or online! This also gives me quite a few months to buy a few here and there, which makes it manageable to afford. If you find that you have extra money on your Disney Gift Cards after purchasing all of your meals and snacks, they are perfect to use for souvenirs!
Remember that you will be allowed to make
Dining Reservations 60 days before your vacation! So be sure to make those needed selections!
I hope your upcoming trip takes you
to infinity and beyond, Beth! We’d love to hear from you again soon!
