Hi, there!
Welcome to planDisney, Ashley. I'm super excited to hear you'll be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort next weekend! You must be counting down the days. I know I would be!
A Disney vacation is always magical, but exceptionally so during the
holiday season. And you'll have a
little one in tow? Oh, you're sure to make so many precious memories together!
I'm happy to tell you that you are most welcome to bring food and beverages into the theme parks with you.
Guests may bring outside food and nonalcoholic beverage items into the theme parks as long as they are not in glass containers and do not require heating, reheating, or refrigeration. Now, I'm sure you're going to want to keep your little guy's special milk chilled. Not a problem! You may bring a cooler along with you.
Loose ice is not permitted in the theme parks, so you'll need either reusable ice packs or bagged ice in the cooler. Any bags you bring with you are subject to screening at the entrance security checkpoints. As a mom of three, I usually have at least one cooler and one well-stocked backpack with me, but I've found the bag checks to be super quick!
A stroller will be a must-have for your visit to the Walt Disney World Resort. Exploring the theme parks requires a lot of walking and those little legs will tire quickly!
Strollers are available to rent at all four theme parks and Disney Springs. You're also welcome to bring your own stroller from home!
If you bring a stroller from home, just be sure it's no larger than 31" in width and 52" in length. I hope this was helpful, Ashley. Please let me know if you have any other questions about traveling with your toddler to the Walt Disney World Resort!
