Welcome to planDisney Maria! Thanks for bringing your great question to us.
I love that you gifted your niece a
California Resident Park Hopper Ticket, what a wonderful birthday surprise! It is such a fantastic deal for California residents that live in ZIP codes 90000-96199. All Guests ages 18 and older will be required to show a valid government-issued photo ID for admission into the theme parks. If she is 18 years of age or older, and does not have a valid ID to show, then I recommend she obtains a new photo ID from a local California Department of Motor Vehicles office as soon as she can!
Once she has her new photo ID in an eligible ZIP code, she will be able to visit! If she will not have this ID before your planned visit date, you can modify your
theme park reservation for a new date. The
theme park reservation availability calendar will be a great resource to plan your next visit, make sure to click on "CA Resident Park Hopper Ticket" to see availability for that specific ticket type.
You may want to consider purchasing
Lightning Lane Multi Pass during your upcoming trip, early April can be a busier time with families visiting for Spring Break. As soon as you scan your tickets and enter the gates, you can open up the
Disneyland app and purchase Lightning Lane Multi Pass. It really does help save time throughout the day with access to Lightning Lane entrances and shorter wait times!
I hope you're able to visit the "Happiest Place on Earth" with your niece soon, Maria! Please don't hesitate to
come back and ask me any other questions, I'm here to help!
Have a magical day,
Melissa
