Between car seats, clothes, strollers, diapers, and other things, it looked like we were moving in, and we're only a family of four. I cannot imagine how much you will need for 7 people. The great news, Linda, is that you can
mail packages to yourself as long as the packages don’t arrive earlier than one week before your check-in date. So if you are checking in on May 16th, your luggage couldn’t be delivered earlier than the 9th, since that is the maximum time Bell Services can hold packages for you. Now it is important to note that for each package you ship, you will be charged a handling fee (the price is subject to change, but when I shipped diapers to myself, it was less than $10). Now, before you start packing up your luggage, let’s chat about the return trip. You are correct that in Disney Springs, there is a shipping location (
Marketplace Co-Op Shipping Location) that can help Guests with shipping needs. However, when I spoke to a Cast Member, they said that this is reserved for Guests looking to ship purchases from Disney-owned and operated shops home, and they weren’t 100% sure that you could ship luggage. You may be able to ship from the Front Desk of your resort hotels; most can do so as long as the items are pre-packaged and pre-labeled, but not all can. A popular alternative is to use a luggage shipping service that specializes in transporting luggage and other large items. I have not used one before, but while researching your question, I found many positive reviews. It is definitely worth a look to see if it is best for your family.
