I have a trip planned for May of 2016 and my son only drinks almond milk. Is this an option at restaurants and dining areas? And if not is there a refrigerator in the Cars Family Suite because that is where we will be staying.

Hi Jennifer! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

Disney’s Art of Animation Resort in my opinion is one of the coolest Resort Hotels at the Walt Disney World Resort. I love that this resort transports me into some of my favorite Disney Pixar movies. My favorite thing about this resort is that it offers so much room and two bathrooms in the family suites!

I have a daughter with a dairy/soy allergy and all that she drinks is almond milk. We just came back from the Walt Disney World Resort and unfortunately I didn’t find any almond milk offerings, though I did see plenty of soy milk. What I did was use a grocery delivery service called Garden Grocer. I ordered in two half gallons of almond milk to get us through our trip. There is a minimum order amount with this service so I also ordered some snacks and a case of water. In the long run it saved us a lot of money especially on water! This grocery delivery service delivers your groceries to your Resort hotel. Once you arrive and are ready for the groceries, you just call bell services and they will deliver them right to your room. They even keep all of the perishable items in the refrigerator/freezer! It really is so convenient. The Cars Family Suites do in fact offer a refrigerator (as do all of the Resort hotel rooms at the Walt Disney World Resort) and it really comes in handy especially when you need it for special dietary needs!

I hope that you have an unforgettable vacation!
