I have a trip planned in May. I purchased my package through Southwest hotel and tickets, 3 adults. I assume each of us need their own My Disney app. I am also buying 3 magic bands. How do I add the tickets to the app if I have 1 confirmation number.

Hello, Heidi! Thank you for visiting planDisney with your Walt Disney World Resort vacation planning question.

You are only a few weeks away from visiting The Most Magical Place On Earth. You all must be excited! I have good news for you, too! Not every adult needs to have their own My Disney Experience app. However, they should create their own My Disney Experience account. Having the account set up for each Guest will allow one person to manage reservations for any Guest linked to his/her Family & Friends List. This becomes useful when booking things like Lightning Lanes through Disney Genie+ or dining reservations for the entire party.  Suppose you think your group may go their separate ways at times during the vacation. In that case, it may help that they have their own My Disney Experience app downloaded on their mobile device, but the actual app itself isn’t necessary for everyone.

To assign a ticket you purchased for someone else, you will need to make sure the Guest is added to your Family & Friends List, so you will want to follow the following steps in your My Disney Experience app:
    - Open the My Disney Experience app on your mobile device.
    - Click on the menu icon (three horizontal lines in the bottom right corner).
    - Scroll to the Disney Account section and select “Profile”.
    - Select the “Family & Friends” tab at the top of the next screen.
    - Click “Add a Guest.”’

Once you have successfully added Guests to your Family & Friends List, you will want to return to the menu (by tapping the three horizontal line icon) again and select “My Tickets & Passes.” Scroll through the tickets you purchased, and when you find the one intended to be used by another Guest, you will see the option to “Reassign Ticket.” When you click on that, you will be taken to a new screen with your Family & Friends List, where you can select the appropriate Guest.

If you cannot view or link your tickets, you can visit the Walt Disney World Help Center site and contact the number for “Existing Tickets” listed under the Reservations and Tickets section.

I hope this helps, Heidi, and I hope you have a fantastic time visiting Disney World. If you want any dining recommendations or ideas for an adult-only trip, let me know

    See you real soon,
