Hi Moms! I have a trip planned in May for 6 nights at Animal Kingdom Lodge. We decided we wanted to add another two nights at a different resort to extend our trip. Is this easily done? I have only ever stayed at one resort my entire trip so this is new!

    Hi Shannon!

Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Resort-Hopping is very popular for Walt Disney World guests and they make it extremely easy to do.

Once you check-out of Animal Kingdom Lodge, you can leave your luggage with Bell Services.  They can take it to your new resort for you.  You can have them delivered to your new room or pick them up yourself in the lobby of the second resort.  This is especially convenient if you want to go play at the parks that day.

Both resorts will be eligible for advanced on-line check in, if you wish to do it that way and save a little time. Just stop by the front desk of your new resort when you're ready to check-in and they will make sure your Magic Bands are working properly for your new room.

I hope this helps!  I think you will like Resort-Hopping.  You get to see two amazing places in one trip!
