I have a trip planned in May 2024 for 3 days and will be buying park tickets for those 3 days. I am going again in October. If I chose to buy annual passes when I arrive in May, would the amount I paid for the May tickets count towards the annual pass?

Hiya Denise! Thanks for stopping by planDisney with this great question!

Oh boy! It seems like you are planning a year full of magical Disney vacations. This is typically how my family prefers to travel. We like to take shorter trips but visit more frequently throughout the year. This allows us to always stay up to date on the new experiences happening at the Walt Disney World Resort!

Denise, you'll be happy to know that you can use the value you paid toward upcoming park tickets to purchase an Annual Pass. Once you arrive onsite, stop by any Guest Relations booths outside of the four theme parks or the Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs to make this change. The process is fairly simple and you should be on your way in no time.

Becoming a Walt Disney World Annual Passholder is such a wonderful experience. Not only can you visit as much as your pass allows for, but you also receive discounts at many merchandise and dining locations. If you are planning to visit multiple times throughout the year, not only will you save on park tickets, but on many other things as well.

Denise, I hope you have a magical time visiting next year! Stop back and see us again at planDisney! We'll be happy to answer any questions that come your way!

    Happy holidays!
