I have a trip planned in March for 2, it is my first time visiting! We booked a hotel outside of the park and are wondering if we have the option to purchase a dining plan or not? If not,we're wondering how much money to bring with us for food in the park?

    Hi Nicole!

Unfortunately, the Disney Dining Plans are reserved for guests staying in a Disney owned and operated hotel; basically it's a perk for resort guests.

For budget purposes, I recommend on budgeting about 50 to 60 dollars per adult and about 30 to 40 dollars per child per day.  That assumes one or two Table Service meals each day, but no alcohol.  Obviously, depending on how your party dines, your costs could be a lot higher or lower.  To get a good feel, I recommend visiting the independent website AllEars.Net.  There you can see the menu, including prices, for every Table Service and Quick Service restaurant at Walt Disney World.  Just click on Walt Disney World and then click on dining!

I hope this helps!  Write back if you have any more questions!
