I had a trip planned in March 2020 that got cancelled because of Covid. I had a credit. Is it still valid? Where do I find it? How do I use it?

    Hey Mark!

Welcome to planDisney! I'm sorry that your Walt Disney World Resort plans for March 2020 did not happen and you have been waiting now three years to have a chance to redo it. Let me see how I can help you!

I can't be 100 percent sure if your tickets are valid but I can guide you on the path to figuring it out yourself. I want you to log in to your My Disney Experience account and scroll down to "My Plans, Reservations and Tickets." Then look underneath these words for the blue letters that say "Tickets, Passes & Memory Maker." Any tickets you purchased that are still valid will be found here. If your ticket did not have an expiration and was not used yet should still be valid to use. You may have the ability right in your My Disney Experience to change the date of your tickets to one coming up. There is also the possibility that if there is a price difference with the tickets for the new dates you end up choosing you may have to pay a little more when finalizing the changes.

If for some reason you can't find your tickets then you may have to link them. If you purchased them from Walt Disney World directly or from another source then I suggest you look for that email confirmation which will have some kind of confirmation number or ticket number. Enter the information here to link to your My Disney Experience account.

Finally, if for some reason my suggestions don't work then I would reach out to the friendly Cast Members at Walt Disney World for some more assistance.

Since Walt Disney World Resort after the pandemic, some things are different. You may not know when you eventually decide on the dates you want to visit know that you will most likely have to make a Theme Park Reservation. If you visit on January 9, 2024, or after, date-based tickets will not require Theme Park Reservations. One of the best things finally coming back is the Disney Dining Plan! Any trips after January 9, 2024, will include an option for guests to add the Disney Dining Plan. I have a family of big eaters who really enjoy this plan and have used it with joy on prior trips. Hmm, a trip in 2024 sure sounds tempting.

I hope this helps and you get a chance to have a magical visit very soon!

    Happy Planning!

We have traveled as just adults, with babies, kids, teenagers, and senior citizens. We have seen so many characters, eaten at amazing places, and consumed a ton of Dole Whips. So "give a little whistle" and let me be your guide! Learn More About Nimmy
