    We have a trip planned for later this year and are looking at dining at Space 220 for Lunch. My kids are not too thrilled Lift-Off selects from the Prix Fixe menu. Can you substitute dessert for the Lift-off during Lunch?

It looks like your family's visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth is just a few short months away - the countdown is on! Your family is in for an unforgettable trip, Joshua. The only thing better than visiting the Walt Disney World Resort is experiencing it with your loved ones!

    I'm so excited to hear that you scored a dining reservation at Space 220 Restaurant! Your family will enjoy an out-of-this-world EPCOT dining experience unlike any other dining location at the Walt Disney World Resort. This fan-favorite dining location offers a prix-fixe, 2-course meal for lunch, with separate menus for adults and children. The adult meal includes Lift-Offs (appetizer) and a Star Course (entrée) while the child meal includes a Star Course (entrée), Celestial Beverage (drink), and a Supernova Sweets (dessert) selection. I understand that little ones' taste buds are a little different than us big kids' as I have a picky-eater myself! Joshua, you may be able to substitute dessert options for your children's appetizers, however, this decision will be made at the discretion of the restaurant. I encourage you to speak with your host and make your request when you arrive at the restaurant.

    Joshua, your visit coincides with the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival - my favorite of the EPCOT Festivals! Some of my family's favorite offerings during this event are Spike’s Pollen-Nation Exploration scavenger hunt and the Butterfly Landing butterfly house. If you don't have a dinner reservation lined up for your day at EPCOT, you could make a meal out of all the savory snacks and delectable drinks offered at the Outdoor Kitchens around the World Showcase.
