We have a trip planned for late Sept. We do not plan on attending MNSSHP but do plan on going to MK on a day there is a party scheduled. Will we be able to make dining reservations at the 180 mark for that day or will it be different because of the MNSSHP?

    Hi Julie!

Welcome BACK to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Are you excited for your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation?

While the official dates and times of this years Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party have yet to be announced, if you look on the Park Hours calendar for Magic Kingdom Park between late August through October you can pretty much figure it out. You will definitely still be able to make Advanced Dining Reservations for breakfast, lunch, and early dinner at Magic Kingdom Park on a day when a Halloween party is scheduled to take place. You'll even be able to schedule dinner, or jump into a ride queue, minutes before the park closes to the day and non-party guests. However once finished with your meal, or attraction, you most likely will be escorted to the front of the park by a friendly and helpful Cast Member.

In regards to both Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party as well as Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, the last few years Magic Kingdom Park has closed at 6 P.M. while the parties have 'started' at 7 P.M. This gives a bit of time for the party go-ers to casually arrive and it allows those who visited Magic Kingdom Park during the day a bit of time to finish their day in a non-rushed way.

I hope this helped in your planing, Julie, and We'll See You Real Soon!
