HI! so i have a trip planned for late feb early march. my son will be 6 when we go. should i bring/ rent for him? he is quite active but when we went last october he was 4 and we took a stroller then. i know he wont mind getting in a stroller.

    Hi Courtney!

I believe you are asking about renting or bringing a stroller for your young six year old for your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation. This is always a tough decision as you want happy children when on vacation and not tired out kiddos.

Since you mentioned he is very active I suggest you not bring your own stroller with you. That is added stress when traveling and it is so easy to get a stroller once you arrive. Active children will want to be in and out of a stroller unlike the very young who will spend most of their days in one. Each of the parks have Stroller Rentals available for the guests. Your other option is to simply purchase the little umbrella strollers that you can find in the shops for about $55. These are easy to handle and fold up and don't take up much room. You would then have a stroller to and from the resorts and parks and not just in the park. I have bought the umbrella stroller in the past and then left the stroller when I returned home.

You want to keep things as easy as possible for you and the family. Whatever stroller idea you choose also remember to bring a colorful scarf or ribbon so you can decorate the stroller in some way.. This will make it easy for you to identify it when looking among the hundreds that are parked for attractions.
