Hi Randy!
Thank you so much for stopping by planDisney! We're so glad that you're hEAR, and thank you so much for sending this
Disneyland Resort vacation planning question our way!
One of my favorite things to do when my son was a mini Mickey was to stay in the parks way after the fireworks were finished, change him into jammies, and let him fall asleep in his reclined jogging stroller so I should shop around the stores before heading back to the car. I'm actually really jealous of all the super cool strollers that have been invented since he was that little, and we're not even talking that long ago. I'm so sorry to say that
wagons and stroller-wagons of any kind, both the kind that pull as well as those that can be pushed, are not allowed in Disney Theme Parks. (There's also a rule against loose ice that was put into place in the same message as 'the great stroller update of 2019', so I like to think that somewhere in the late 2010s, lots of park guests were packing their wagons with as much ice as they could carry and creating a dripping wet wagon train.)
Most other kinds of Strollers are welcome;
as long as they can fit entirely in a 31" by 52" rectangular box, they can be in-line or side-by-side.
There are also a few options for
stroller rentals, should you like that option better than bringing your own, Randy. The first is actually at Disneyland Resort, just outside and to the right of the Disneyland Park entrance turnstiles. These strollers push like a dream and can hold a lot of weight. The only drawback is that they don't recline and there isn't really any room for storage. They are also available on a first-come, first-served basis and while there are a lot of them, I'd rather not risk such a valued park necessity.
The other type of rental is through Disneyland's featured provider, Scooterbug of Anaheim. Scooterbug has a handful of stroller models to choose between. But my favorite perk of using Scooterbug is that they'll drop off your rental at your
Disneyland Resort Hotel before your arrival and pick it up after you leave (both at Bell Services) so there's no lost time waiting around for the delivery or having to carry a squirmy Disney baby to the stroller stand. You stroll and go to play right away!
PS - be sure to stop by the
Baby Care Centers with your littles for everything that you might need, from forgotten necessities to a clean and cool place to change a diaper or make a mini-meal.
There's even a tiny toilet for those who are lEARning to become big kids!
I hope that this helped to better plan your upcoming Disney days, Randy! Be sure to follow the
