    We have a trip planned for July of this year. Will we be eligible to take part with the new choices in magic bands for an additional $10?

    Hi, Rosalie, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

    It won't be long now before your Walt Disney World Resort adventure begins! I always know when it comes time to customize our MagicBands that our vacation is just around the corner. And wasn't it great news that we'll soon have some new options for MagicBands with future Resort hotel stays? The Disney Parks Blog announced just a few days ago that Guests would be able to order from a galaxy of colors and styles for a small extra charge, but we don't have a date yet as to when those orders will start.

    My family also has a Resort hotel stay planned for July and I haven't customized our MagicBands yet, so I just went into our My Disney Experience account to see if I could choose one of the upgraded styles. As I write to you, the usual solid colors were still my only choices. The Disney Parks Blog announcement did say that you can order your MagicBands up to 11 days before your arrival in order to have them shipped to your home, so I'd keep checking right up until the last moment to see if you can snag some upgraded ones!

    Rosalie, I have my fingers crossed that we'll be able to order the new MagicBands very soon. In the meantime, have fun planning, and do come back and see us again if you have any more questions!
