Greetings, Gabrielle!
Thanks so much for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your great question. The Walt Disney World Resort is so accommodating to families with children of all ages, so I just know you are going to make some amazing memories with your little one!
Before you arrive, I recommend downloading the
My Disney Experience app where you can see park maps and detailed information on
all attractions at the four theme parks of the Walt Disney World Resort. Any attraction without a height requirement means it is safe for even the littlest Guests, just like your infant. I found that most of these attractions will require you take your baby out of a body carrier with him sitting on your lap or being held for safety reasons. Just be sure to ask the Cast Member at each attraction entrance for the specific boarding procedures with your baby. From personal experience, I also recommend having a stroller in addition to a body carrier, because the heat of the Florida sun and all the walking can be a little warm with a little one so close to your body. Convenient stroller parking is available near all attractions!
When my son was an infant, we enjoyed taking him on all of the family-friendly attractions in Magic Kingdom Park, but especially "it's a small world," Peter Pan's Flight, Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover, and Dumbo the Flying Elephant to name just a few. In Epcot, you will also find many slow-moving attractions to take little ones like The Seas with Nemo & Friends, Frozen Ever After, and Living with the Land. In Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park your son will love the soothing sounds and sights on Na'vi River Journey as well as the fun TriceraTop Spin. In Disney's Hollywood Studios you can enjoy plenty of entertainment with your son like Disney Junior Dance Party!, Voyage of the Little Mermaid, and Lightning McQueen's Racing Academy.
I also want to let you know that each of these theme parks has a
Baby Care Center so you can have a place to semi-privately feed and change your little one away from the hustle and bustle of the parks. These were a lifesaver for us when my son was a baby!
I hope this helps, and have a Fantasmic day!
