Welcome to planDisney, Michele!
Oh, you must be so excited to leave the currently chilly and windy Pennsylvania weather and head to warm and sunny Florida. What a perfect time to do so!
Michele, if you would like to add a visit to Walt Disney World while in Florida--but you are not sure which day yet--I suggest that you purchase your
Theme Park Ticket once you have decided. Because WDW tickets are date-based, you'll pay a price for a ticket to a particular park on a specific date, and pricing varies on those details. If you don't get to the park that day, your ticket will expire. Not to worry, though, as the website states "After expiration date, the price paid for a wholly unused ticket can be applied to the purchase of a new ticket with an equal or higher price."
While you can always purchase your ticket at a park upon arrival, you have some other choices as well. First, you can visit
Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs, then spend the rest of your day enjoying the shopping, dining, and entertainment options this outstanding location offers. It's another way to add little extra Disney magic to your Florida vacation without needing a ticket to enter. So much to do there!
My favorite way to grab those theme park tickets, though, is to do so directly through the
Walt Disney World website. Once you've checked on the weather and solidified plans during your vacation, it's easy to purchase that ticket right online. You'll have your ticket in your
My Disney Experience Account, and can easily access it right through your
My Disney Experience app. Easy peasy!
Michele, as you plan your visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth, be sure to send additional questions our way. We love to help!
