We have a trip planned for the first weekend of November, Im looking for live stage from Disney Junior; my son loves Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and Jake as well. I can see there is a show in California, is there a chance we can find it in MK Florida?

    Hi, Lizzie!

You are in luck! The Disney Junior - Live on Stage! opened at Disney's Hollywood Studios on March 11, 2011, taking the place of Playhouse Disney - Live on Stage! in the same theater.

This stage show features characters from the shows and a single live-action host named Casey.

The plot, introduced by characters from Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, is simple for the preschool set to follow: Mickey Mouse and his friends decide, as the show begins, to create the best-ever birthday party for Minnie, and friends from the Disney Channel lineup help determine the best ways in which to divide up the tasks.

Please note that the show is cast with hand puppets and the audience is seated on the floor in front of a standard stage. The stage is high enough that a little one might have some difficulty seeing the puppets if seated too close to the front. The temptation is generally to head straight down toward the front of the theater, but your child might have a better viewing experience from further back. He will not miss out on anything -- the entire theater will be rocking with Handy Manny, Jake, the Neverland Pirates, and Mickey Mouse!

    Have a fantastic trip!

See you later, celebrator! -Deborah B.
