Welcome to planDisney, Christy! Thanks so much for coming to us with your question today. I know that visiting Theme Parks without a
Disney Park Pass reservation feels a bit new to you, but there's no need to worry because I've got lots of experience planning trips like this and I'm happy to share all the details with you!
Since you're visiting in February 2024, Disney Park Pass reservations will be a thing of the past for guests with date-based tickets, which are the type of tickets you typically purchase when you're booking a vacation package. This means that you can just show up at the Theme Park you want to go to each morning without any advanced notice and scan your ticket! For safety reasons, there is a maximum capacity for each Theme Park but it is extremely rare for attendance to hit that maximum number. Typically, that only happens on big holidays like Christmas Day and New Year's Eve, so you won't have to think about it when you're there early next year.
Christy, even though you don't need Disney Park Pass reservations for your upcoming trip, I recommend having at least a loose plan of what you want to do each day. Start by making your
advanced dining reservations when the window opens up in a couple of weeks, and then plan your Theme Park days around those. The calendar for the week that you're visiting should be up around the end of this year, so take a look at operating hours and decide which Theme Parks you want to visit on which day. Your trip will start to take shape over the next few months, but these plans are all totally flexible so if you wake up one day and decide that you want to spend another day at the
EPCOT International Festival of the Arts instead of doing what you had planned, you have that freedom and it's totally up to you!
I hope this answers your question, Christy, and please let us know if there's anything else we can do to help you plan your magical vacation.
