Hello, I have a trip planned for the end of February. Last time I visited Disney was back in 2015. Needless to say there is a lot I have to experience. I was wondering, does MK still do “Kiss Goodnight” at closing?

Welcome to planDisney, Nicholas! I'm sure you must be excited for your next visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth! While there are certainly a lot of new experiences since your last visit, I think you'll also enjoy some of your favorite traditions, like the "Kiss Goodnight" at Magic Kingdom Park!

Nicholas, the "Kiss Goodnight" still happens on most nights at Magic Kingdom; usually about 30 minutes after the park's official closing time. If you're anything like me, I am known to linger on Main Street, U.S.A. as the crowds exit the park at closing; to be honest, this is my absolute favorite time to be in Magic Kingdom. There's something special and unique about the ambiance as the park settles down for the night and the crowds thin out as the magic of stillness and calmness start to take over. The "Kiss Goodnight" adds an extra special layer to this already magical moment for me; reminding me how very lucky I have been to spend another day at this most magical place celebrating yesterday, tomorrow, and fantasy.

As you wait for this magical moment, consider stopping by Main Street Confectionery or the Plaza Ice Cream Parlor for a sweet treat to enjoy. As you watch Cinderella Castle and hear the familiar tune of "When You Wish Upon A Star", you'll know the moment has come for this fond farewell.

I hope this helps, Nicholas, and that you get to experience this moment again on your upcoming visit! If you have any other planning questions, come back to planDisney and let us know! Things may have changed since 2015, but the magic remains the same, and I know you're going to remember that feeling as soon as you're home again!

    See you real soon,
    Alison
