Easter Greetings, Katherine! I’m so glad to share the EGG-citing offerings surrounding the springtime holiday with you at Walt Disney World Resort. Since you will begin your magical vacation on April 13th, you’ll be smack dab in the window to visit Mr. and Mrs. Easter Bunny at Magic Kingdom. You’ll find the bunny pair in Town Square, just as you enter the park. On April 15th and 16th, the Easter pre-parade will take place down Main Street, U.S.A. Grab a treat from the Main Street Confectionary and enjoy the sights!
If your family would like to partake in Easter Day Religious Services, you can find them at Disney’s Contemporary Resort on Easter morning. Services will be held in the
Fantasia Ballroom and have a few start times: Catholic Mass will be held at 8:00am and 10:30am, and a Protestant Service at 9:15am. Please use Disney Transportation starting at 7am since parking at the Contemporary will be tight. You may use the Monorail, Watercrafts or take a bus to Magic Kingdom Park and board the shuttle to Disney’s Contemporary Resort.
If you care to write me back and let me know which Walt Disney World Resort you will be visiting, I can give you much more information about the Easter offerings at each Resort and Hotel. For example, at 10am,
Animal Kingdom Lodge will offer Ostrich Egg Decorating at a small cost, while supplies last. (All proceeds go to conservation efforts) At the Grand Floridian, there is a Specialty Easter Egg Display from April 11-19. You will also be able to entertain your family with Easter Baskets, Mystery Easter Egg pin trading, Easter Candy Scrambles, and arts and crafts.
You’ll be hopping down the bunny trail, right to all the fun! I can’t wait to share more with you! ~ Lindsey P.
