We have a trip planned to Disney/Orlando and plan on visiting everything "Star Wars". Can you tell me which parks have rides/shows/activities that my two boys will go crazy over? Can I sign up for any of these early? Thx!!

    Hi Tamala!

Thank you for sending in your question to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel!

In general, there are two Star Wars related activities at Walt Disney World:
    • Star Tours - The Adventure Continues
    • Jedi Training Academy

Both of those activities are located in Disney's Hollywood Studios.  Star Tours is a 3-D motion based simulator ride.  The attraction is fabulous and there are multiple destinations so be sure to experience it more than once.  The Jedi Training Academy is a stage show that children can participate in; basically they receive training and then have the opportunity to fight Darth Vader or another Star Wars villain.  It is fun to watch even if you are not participating on stage!

However, if you really want to have a Star Wars vacation at Walt Disney World then you should consider going to Walt Disney World when the Studios is hosting Star Wars Weekends.  That typically occurs over 4 weekends in the May / June time frame.  There will be special Star Wars activities including a special parade, workshop, and talks.  There's also special Star Wars merchandise and meet and greets.

I hope this helps!  Please write back with more questions!
