Hello, Melinda!
Welcome to planDisney, I'm happy to meet you! You'll be visiting the resort during the magical transformation from spooky season to jolly season, and I love watching the parks change each day during that time!
I know that parades are a huge tradition at the Disneyland Resort that many people (myself included!) look forward to. The
Entertainment Schedule is the right place to look for parades, shows, and atmosphere performances during your visit. At the moment, I don't see any parades scheduled for the dates of your visit. I'm so sorry to disappoint you! But I do see lots of other fun entertainment options:
- World of Color - ONE is so gorgeous! If you want an extra fun way to see the show I recommend making reservations for the World of Color Dessert Party. You get snacks, dessert, and a great seat for the show!
- Mickey's Mix Magic is a lively projection show, and it looks like the show may include fireworks if the weather cooperates!
- Storytelling at Royal Theater is a great comedy show retelling some of our favorite stories, fun for both kids and adults.
- Tale of the Lion King features the powerful music of the Pride Lands in an amazing outdoor theater.
- Queenie and the Jambalaya Jazz Band float across the Rivers of America with their music combined with beautiful fountains. In between the band, you can see The Heartbeat of New Orleans – A Living Mural that tells the story of a little frog who jumps into the jazzy heart of New Orleans!
I would also keep an eye on the Entertainment Calendar for later additions and updates. For example, I don't see
The Dapper Dans on the schedule yet, but they're at Disneyland Park most days! It's not unusual for entertainment to be updated, even once you're in the park. The best place to see the latest schedule when you're in the parks is the
Disneyland Mobile App.
The lack of parades that week is likely because the parks will be transitioning between holiday celebrations, getting ready to start Holidays at the Disneyland Resort on November 10th. While you won't be there for the official start of the celebrations, it's possible that you'll see many of the decorations while you're there! There may even be some early treats and merchandise that creep in during your visit.
Melinda, I am sorry there probably won't be a parade while you're at the parks. But I hope that these other entertainment options will help you plan an unforgettable visit!
Let me know if you have any other questions!Keep moving forward!
Amanda
