Hello. We have a trip planned and will be at Disney in 9 days. However, my youngest son (age 7) has his arm in a cast. Will he be restricted or not allowed to ride anything?

    Hi Glenda!

Sorry to hear about your son and his injury. I wouldn't anticipate your son getting on rides to be much of a problem, provided that the safety harnesses can fit around or above him and can securely fasten in the seat. Also that his arm cast can safely fit inside the ride (some of the older cast moldings had the metal rod that kept the arm extended up). Some of the rides have the shoulder rests that descend from above, so those would have to snap in securely before the ride will even begin. Again, how the arm cast was molded will play a hand in any limitations (if any) he may encounter. But our wonderful friends at Disney will do whatever they can safely do to make sure your son's experience is as magical as it possibly can be.

Good luck! Only days to go!!
