Hi Rhonda,
Welcome to planDisney!
It sounds as if you reserved a
vacation package with a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel. If so, then you need to
modify that package 30 days or more in advance to be eligible for a refund. If you booked through a third-party vendor, you need to check with that vendor to determine any cancellation fees they may impose. If you purchased
travel insurance, you would need to review the protocols for cancelations. If you did not book a Disney Resorts Collection hotel, you need to check with that property to determine what the cancellation fees might be.
To see the specific cancellation and/or modification terms and conditions for your reservation, locate the email confirmation that you received and scroll down. You may have received more than one email celebrating your vacation package confirmation. Look for the one that has the terms and conditions at the bottom of the email. I have an upcoming room-only reservation and, for that, any changes must be made five days or more prior to arrival to avoid additional penalties or fees.
Rhonda, remember also to modify
dining reservations if you have those and cancel any
Disney Park Pass system reservations for that Guest. December is still a few months away, so I have hope that everyone will be able to make it. We just returned from a stay at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa and had such a fabulous time! Make good use of the My Disney Experience Mobile App. When you get there, the
Mobile Dine Check-in feature is so easy to use!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
