Hi, Pamela! Or as they say on the planet Batuu, "Bright suns!"
I sense that the Force is strong with you, Pamela, so I'm sure you're just as excited as I am for the opening of
Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge at
Disney's Hollywood Studios. I was lucky enough to visit Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge when it opened at Disneyland Resort, and I can tell you that it exceeded all of my expectations. I had a blast living out my very own Star Wars adventure. The opportunity to pilot the fastest hunk of junk in the galaxy on
Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run was a childhood dream come true. Did you know that the second Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge attraction,
Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance is expected to open shortly before your planned visit? I am so excited for you!
We know that when Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge opens at the Walt Disney World Resort, the land and its experiences will be subject to capacity restrictions. However, there has been very little discussion so far about procedures for gaining entry to this immersive new land. As Yoda once said, "The dark side clouds everything. Impossible to see the future is." As of right now, there has been no mention of the Walt Disney World Resort utilizing a reservation system similar to what Disneyland Resort had when their Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge opened. Be sure to keep an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog for all the latest news and announcements related to the opening of Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge.
As a guest staying at
Hilton Orlando Lake Buena Vista, you will be eligible for some of the benefits extended to
Walt Disney World Resort Hotel guests. One of these benefits is
Extra Magic Hours. We know that Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge will be available to guests during Extra Magic Hours, so be sure to check the theme park hours on your
My Disney Experience mobile app. If Extra Magic Hours are offered at Disney's Hollywood Studios during your visit, I would recommend taking advantage of this extra time in the park.
May the Force be with you!
