Hi I have a trip planned for august staying at the fort wilderness campground. I was diagnosed with celiac disease since my last trip and I was wondering if you guys had a menu or something for different areas in different parks so I know what to expect?

Hiya Julie - welcome to planDisney!

We're so glad you stopped by with this important question. It just so happens that one of my close friends and Walt Disney World Resort travel buddies also has Celiac Disease, and I have quite a bit of experience dining with them. I'm happy to provide you with some of the information we've found useful when dining together!

Walt Disney World Resort always wants to make sure all Guests have a magical experience, and Cast Members have designed special dining options to meet your specific needs. If you're interested in checking out these menu options before your trip, simply search for the dining location online or in your My Disney Experience Mobile App, and click or tap on View Menu. Scroll down near the bottom of the menu to see a wide variety of Allergy-Friendly options. On some menus, these are broken apart by specific allergen (e.g., Gluten/Wheat Allergy-Friendly), and on others, there will be sections by course (e.g., Appetizers) and each item will indicate whether a Guest with a specific allergen can enjoy it.

The great news is that you'll have options almost everywhere. I was trying to find any dining locations that did not offer Gluten/Wheat Allergy-Friendly selections, and couldn't come across any, but your mileage may vary.

In addition to ordering from these menus, you should also always indicate your allergy when prompted to do so while making a dining reservation. Also, mention it again to the Cast Members at the dining location, whether it be the host and your server at a Table Service location or any Cast Member at a Quick Service location. When in doubt, just ask - Cast Members are well-trained in accommodating these needs. If you want to go a step further and see an item's ingredients list for yourself, all dining locations have a binder with detailed information - just ask a Cast Member to view it!

I hope this information helps put your mind at ease about dining during your upcoming vacation! Please let me know if any other questions come up as you continue planning.
